Kentucky Petroleum Marketers Associations (KPMA) Founded in 1926, KMPA is a statewide, nonprofit trade association based in Lexington, Kentucky.

It is made up of representatives of all segments of the petroleum industry to promote the interest and goodwill of everyone engaged in the marketing and distribution of petroleum products in Kentucky. KPMA represents over 300 active and associate members. Our active members own or supply over 3,000 retail fueling facilities (convenience stores, service stations, truckstops, cardlocks and marinas)

in Kentucky. The association keeps its members current on petroleum and related industry news and reports, developments in the industry and state and national government, and forecasts of trends and changes that affect petroleum marketing.

The most impressive Coin Check moment yet!

At the 100th Anniversary Celebration, KPMA Chair Brian Newcomb and Immediate Past Chair Scott Kiser led a memorable feature of the event by recognizing past Chairs in attendance with the KPMA Chair’s Challenge Coin. Amazingly, 13 past Chairs were recognized on stage, and two others were recognized in absentia.

The KPMA Chair's Challenge Coin is the highest honor to receive and we're grateful to have had the opportunity to acknowledge past KPMA Chairs in front of their peers. As we continue to honor the past and embrace the future, this was one highlight of 2026 that won't be forgotten.

is excited to have Brian, a fourth-generation marketer, as the 76th Chair of this historic association. KPMA members are often multi-generational businesses, and the leadership of KPMA over the years has reflected the family connection, as ten pairs of father-son business owners have served as chair including Brian and his dad, Jack.

We look forward to Brian's leadership over the next two years as KPMA turns the page and moves into the next 100 years.

The KPMA Fall Meeting & Golf Classic returns this August 24–25 as we continue celebrating 100 years! This member-only experience is built around connection, competition, and fun.

Join KPMA members at Greenbrier Golf & Country Club for a full day of golf, friendly competition, a whole lot of prizes, and an evening reception with industry peers.
