The rare and elusive E28 M5. For the U.S. market it was only available in 1988. The U.S. spec cars were painted any color you wanted as long as it was black. They only came with beige interiors and manual transmissions. In my opinion this car was what made 4 door cars cool. It was fast in its day and very nimble for its size. It is not a large or heavy car but you just don’t think of sedans from the late 80’s to be this cool. This car shows 60,000+ miles on the odometer and it is clean AF. It was a privilege to do the work that was done to keep this car on the road.

Today I witnessed 3 teenagers learn a basic life skill in changing spark plugs. I was thrilled to see it and proud to see that it was my son and a couple of his friends with that desire.
