Good Morning all you wonderful ppl;
Hello Good Morning,
My Name is Michelle Acevedo and I am reaching out for my son's boss at Doc's Auto Repair LLC. My son is his main tech. Doc is a 60 yr old resident of Batesburg-Leesville SC. He is a huge animal lover and has been rescuing dumped cats for many year's. He has been promised by many ppl to help get them adopted after he gets them well and fixed. Lots of ppl are dumping sick kitties and he always help's them. So he has accumulated about/over 100. He has turned his old shop by his house into a home for them to be safe and cared for. Lexington county has inspected it and has been approved. Well not to long ago they all caught feline parvo and it costed him $43,000 to treat them. He did loose a few but has succeeded and treated the area. Well now more than ever cat dumping is at an all time high. He also has lots of special need's cats ( special diet,meds, grooming ) so it's getting very costly. Not only is he getting older but came across a health issue and is really stressing out the care for his cats. He doesn't know what to do. I have devoted my time in to helping him since Im unemployed during this virus. Mr. Leapheart wants nothing in this for himself or me either, I just know if something happens to him I don't have the funds but I do have time and lots of love. I am also his animal ambulance π His funds are getting low and he is running out of options. All we are asking us for big bags of dry cat food and litter and wet food as well. We had ppl who wanted to donate money but he will not except it he doesn't want to take ppls money in this hard time but if they would like to donate it straight to Crossroads Animal Hospital on Two Notch in Lexington Sc 8033564165 and apply to Gene Leapheart's Kitties they can. I have also made a gofundme that will strictly be used for that bill or food only. Every little bit helps. Doc said anyone who helps and need's help with their vehicle will get a dicount. They must save there receipt. Thank you so much for taking the time to hear our cry for help. We appreciate your time and effort. Have a blessed day π
Michelle
