"I am not a mechanic nor pretend to understand anything about cars, so I rely on the integrity of the garages I call to not only be honest, but fair in their evaluations and costs of repair.
Recently, my brakes (on 1 axel) needed to be replaced. I found this out when I brought my car in to A different garage to replace the oil and get checked out, including a tire rotation. Yes, that other organization could have done the repair, but I thought they were expensive and wanted to shop around. Forrest Automotive Group was one of the mechanics I called. I told them what I needed, and asked for the cost and time to do it, and after checking out the cost of parts, I was given the price and approximate time it would take to do the job. But before doing the work, Forest Auto wanted to do their own inspection to see exactly what I needed and if I did have to replace my brakes. I thought this was fair and made an appointment the next day.
The bottom line was I did need rotors and pads for that one axel and authorized the work. BTW, this was the only shop I called that wanted to see if I really needed to replace my brakes and took the time to talk to me. They didn't automatically take the word of the other organization I took my car to.
Would I take my car here again? Yes I would."
