Changes coming for Whitmon Tire.
Whitmon Tire opened in 2015 as a part time Tire Sales and Service business.
It quickly become a full time part time business operating 6 days per week serving about a 60 mi radius of Lewisburg.
Beginning last Fall I started a controlled slow down as I started working less hours and selective on Tire sizes I installed.
Beginning Jan 1st this year I went to a strictly part time business only doing a few Tires per week as I wanted to work.
As Aches and pains of age creep upon me, I am no longer going to continue the Tire business.
I was waiting till later in this year to see how I felt about doing less tires and thought I may want to continue after a slow down period.
This Spring has allowed me to spend more time with the Grand Kids, catching up on old projects that I have been putting off and even been fishing a few times this year.
With all of that being said, I will officially close the businees on June 2 2023.
I have not been or will not be scheduling any more appointments, but will officially, on paper close June 2, 2023.
I would like to thank all of my customers for making this a very successful business. I gained many new friends, had a lot of conversations covering many topics as well as gained a lot of knowledge and wisdom about the Automotive and Tire business.
This is a happy/sad time.
I will miss all of my customers and the things I have learned from them about there families as well as many other topics.
I am happy that this was a very positive experience in my life and look forward to spending more time with the family that I have missed out on over the last several years.
I look forward to continuing my full time job, spending more time doing the things I enjoy as hobbies until I retire full time in a few years.

Nexen has a tire for all vehicles.
Passenger car, high performance sports car, SUV, Truck, Light Truck, AT and MT tread.
Tire prices have increased tremendously and supplies have been tight on most brands over the last 6 months.
Nexen tires have increased in price less than other brands and supplies have been good on most sizes.
Nexen is the best value going on new tires. Prices are in the middle to lower half of the price range, but warranty, quality and ride of the higher priced tires.

We are excited to announce that we will soon be selling and servicing Electric Assisted Bicycles commonly called E-Bikes.
We will be a dealer and distributor of Ancheer products for South Central Ky which include E-Bikes and Fitness equipment.
Stay tuned as we prepare to offer a full line of Ancheer E -Bikes which include Mountain Bikes, City Bikes and Folding Bikes from 20” to 27.5 “, 7 - 21 speeds and 250 - 500 watt motors.
We look forward to offering a product that is not commonly found in local stores and has been mostly sold through online sales.
These Bikes are for all Adults but are best for persons who think they may not be able to ride a normal Bike due to hard to pedal.
These bikes assist while pedaling when put in assist mode to make it easier to pedal.

Whitmon Tire is Open for Tire business.
We have always operated mostly as scheduled appointments for service and Installation.
Effective immediately all of our service will be by appointment only.
You may call or text 270-847-7869 or facebook message to receive a tire quote or to schedule an appointment.
We have a drop off key box if you would like to use it when dropping off your vehicle
Our lobby will be open if you have no other choice when getting your vehicle serviced, but recommend drop off as much as possible.
We will only allow 1 customer at a time in our lobby to increase social distancing.
We also offer online payment if you prefer. You may drop off your vehicle, receive service, pick it up and pay online without any face to face contact.
We look forward to working with you making it very easy for you to get tires installed and service with as little as possible face to face contact.
We can also do local pickup and we will also wipe down surfaces after your vehicle has been serviced.
