P*k Rite is serving as a collection point for relief supplies being organized for the devastated area of Asheville, NC. From 7 AM to 5 PM today and tomorrow, donations can be dropped off at a trailer parked on the west side of P*k Rite’s main facility at 60 P*k Rite Lane. The community is invited to donate water (bottles/gallons), diapers (all sizes), baby wipes, pre-mixed and powdered baby formula, baby bottles, first aid supplies including over the counter medications, women's hygiene products, toothpaste/brushes, disposable washcloths, toilet paper, and paper towels.

One of our employees has a family relative who is a doctor in Asheville, NC, and this physician is the contact point for funneling supplies where there are the greatest needs. The donated supplies will be trucked to North Carolina from the Lewisburg area on Friday evening and will be distributed by helicopter and drone upon arrival.

To our LAMAtrek friends,

It was recently brought to our attention that the trial legislation allowing e-scooters to be driven on roadways in Pennsylvania was not renewed. As a result, our riders are now at risk for citations and scooter confiscation in Union County. PA is now the last state to regulate e-scooters.

We are a service-oriented business, and the safety and well being of our riders is the keystone of our mission as a company. Though our local boroughs were in support of our operation, we have made the very difficult decision to suspend service at this time to mitigate issues for our riders.

The PA Senate has currently has Bill #692 up for consideration. They should be addressing it at the start of the September Session. Please contact your local Senator and let them know how much you enjoy riding scooters!

FAX: (570) 327-3703

Together we can bring them back and once again ride throughout our lovely communities!

Keep on trekkin!
