As DiCE in DC considers options for a business relaunch, we're asking for feedback on what cars our users would like.

We're considering a fleet of basic transportation vehicles of various sizes (think Mazda 2, Mazda 3, Nissan Altima, Toyota RAV4, etc) for rentals in the city via the Getaround platform, and then a smaller fleet of pleasure vehicles for rentals via other platforms (think Tesla, BMW 4 Series convertible, Maserati, etc).

But really, we need to know what *YOU* want.

Please leave a comment with what cars *YOU* would like to have available for rent, your general area, and what you would expect as a reasonable rental rate. Anything else you want to share is welcome, too!

Out of an abundance of caution, DiCE in DC will be suspending all new rental schedules starting today, March 24, 2020 at 5:00 PM EDT. This suspension will continue until April 1, 2020, and may be extended.

Existing rentals will be honored as scheduled.

If you have an urgent rental need - critical workers, etc - please PM us and we will release a car for your use.

Welcome2DC has created a promotion post, and DiCE in DC is taking advantage!

Reserve any DiCE car on Getaround between now and the end of the month, and mention the Welcome2DC post, and get $5 *CASH* for every 24 hour rental period from the initial reservation!

A special $2 discount will be applied to shorter rentals of at least 12 hours.

Here's how it works:

1. Reserve any DiCE car between now and 11:59 PM Eastern Time on 01/31/2020 (the actual rental can start / end at any time).
2. Make your reservation for 24 hours or longer (excellent for a weekend getaway).
3. Use the Getaround app to message me the keyword: WELCOME2DC. This keyword must be sent BEFORE your rental begins.

That's it!

A $5 discount will be given for every 24 hour period of the initial reservation (not including extensions). Example:
