From a scrap of stainless steel flat to an interesting license plate bracket. Have to be honest, I'm not sure I like VW enough to spend this much time on it but, I think it turned out okay.

This project has been a few years in the making. Honestly, it took way longer than it should have but, the result turned out pretty well. As usual, my photography could use improvement, as the pictures do not show the detail very well at all. A disabled Army Veteran stopped in the shop with a rough sketch of a trailer, to be pulled behind his Can Am Spyder, that would contain his electric scooter. He had the dimensions he wanted, indicated that it should be aluminum for weight purposes, with a canvas top and murals of a mountain scene and the Army logo on the sides. This miniature aluminum trailer, 30 inches by 54 inches, was manufactured in its entirety, right here at Al’s Motorsickle Shop. It includes 500-pound inverted torsion bar suspension, internal storage boxes and tie downs, a spring latched loading ramp, a swinging tail gate, LED brake, taillight and turn signals, a double layer double stitched canvas top with brass gromets and 3/8-inch shock cord tie down. The artwork and murals are done with Paasche VL and Millennium airbrushes and Createx Wicked Color paint. Yes, my airbrushing could use some more practice, along with my photography but, I am pretty pleased with it, and what is more important is the customer is pleased with it.

I'm not sure where they found this guy but, Tucker has a short series with him as he attempts to convert a HD Fatboy into a Bobber. If nothing else I got a few chuckles out of it. If it gives you any ideas, I am your local Tucker dealer and would be glad to help you out with parts or ideas or even the work.

Join the ride as Scott Wilkinson tears into his Custom 1997 Harley-Davidson® FatBoy® to convert it into "The Ultimate Bobber." In Episode 1, Scott strips the bike down to just a frame and motor to get it ready for powder-coating and the build phase. The Ultimate Bobber build is sponsored by Tucker...

I did a better job of taking start to finish pictures on this one but, there are still some gaps. Although, I think there's enough to show some of the work involved. It's got too much stuff going on to list it all but, I'll name a few. Electric reverse, floating trailer (yes it has a trunk also), Custom made LED brake and tail lights with integrated sequential turn signals. The rear differential (81 Ford Thunderbird) was converted to 95 mustang axles with disc brakes. Yeah the list keeps going, please ask if you have questions. 1st place at the Abate Expo 2018. Thanks for checkin it out!
