As announced by Track Promoter Bill Osborn in Victory Lane, Mahoning Valley Speedway will be returning in 2027!
As we look back on the 2026 season, we want to take a moment to say something that truly comes from the heart: THANK YOU.
To every single fan, driver, car owner, crew member, track worker, and sponsor who supported Mahoning Valley Speedway this season, please know how much you mean to us. No matter how big or small your role may have been, you were part of this journey, and we would not be where we are today without you.
We know that keeping a racetrack going takes more than just cars on the track. It takes people who believe in what we're doing, people who show up week after week, people who work behind the scenes, people who support us through the good times and the challenging ones, and people who share the same passion for racing that we do.
Every single one of you matters. Every bit of support matters. And none of it goes unnoticed.
This season has reminded us just how special the racing community truly is. The friendships, the memories, the dedication, and the love for this sport are what make Mahoning Valley Speedway more than just a racetrack. It is a family, and we are incredibly grateful to be a part of it with all of you.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in Mahoning Valley Speedway, for standing beside us, and for helping us keep this place alive. We understand that none of this is possible alone, and we will never take your support for granted.

Osborn confirms racing will continue in 2027.

Althouse, Geist and Rich Pursell Capture 2026 Track Championships along with Kyle Strohl, Nick Baer and Marc Aigeldinger.

As announced by Track Promoter Bill Osborn in Victory Lane, Mahoning Valley Speedway will be returning in 2027!

Frankie Althouse left no doubt about who would be crowned the 2026 Street Stock champion, capturing the championship in impressive fashion by winning the 30-lap Street Stock feature.
The victory was anything but easy, as defending champion Jon Moser made Althouse work for every inch. The two drivers swapped the lead numerous times during the opening 12 laps, setting the stage for an intense battle.
On lap six, it appeared Althouse was ready to take control for good, but slight contact between Moser and Althouse sent Althouse sliding sideways. Moser gave Althouse room to collect himself before reclaiming the lead on lap seven.
Moser would go on to lead the next four laps, keeping the pressure on the championship contender. However, Althouse wasn't finished. Using the high side to his advantage, Althouse mounted another charge, powered past Moser, and secured the feature victory.
With the checkered flag waving, Althouse completed a championship-winning performance, sealing the 2026 Street Stock title with a hard-fought victory in the 30-lap feature.
Ryan Berger saved his best for last, capturing his first win of the season on the final night of racing. Starting from the front row, Berger took the lead from rookie Dale Moninghoff on lap 2 and then held off a determined Travis Solomon for the next 22 laps to secure the victory.
Berger heads into 2027 with momentum on his side as he plans to compete full-time in the Hobby Stock division. Solomon settled for second, while Shayne Geist closed in late to finish third. Geist was unable to match his nine-win total from last season, but he still had plenty to celebrate, taking home his second consecutive Hobby Stock championship.
Bobby Kibler Sr. looked poised for his 6th Pro4 win of the season, but son Bobby Kibler Jr. had other plans! With just 3 laps to go, Jr. delivered the classic bump-and-run on Pops to steal the lead and grab the win! Kibler Jr. scores his class-leading 6th win of the season in an unforgettable family battle!
Rich Pursell captured the 2026 Pro 4 Championship over his daughter Kadie Pursell
For the second consecutive time, Riley O’Keefe captured the 25 Lap Legends main event, remaining unbeaten in the Keystone State. However, this victory was far from easy for O’Keefe, who started fifth and made early contact with first-time starter Ed Stadtlander, sending Stadtlander to the rear of the field with O'Keefe for the contact.
The contact opened the door for Anthony Marsh to take the lead, but O’Keefe steadily worked his way back into contention. With just five laps remaining, O’Keefe pulled alongside Marsh, setting up a thrilling three-lap battle for the top spot.
With only two laps to go, O’Keefe finally made his move, taking the lead and holding on to secure his second consecutive victory at Mahoning Valley Speedway.
In the 20-lap East Coast TQ Midget Feature, Jacob Shultz used lapped traffic to his advantage, erasing Tyler Wagner’s half-track lead before making the winning pass with just five laps remaining.
As Wagner entered lapped traffic, his car became extremely loose, giving Shultz the opportunity to slowly reel in the leader. With approximately seven laps remaining, Shultz had closed to Wagner’s rear bumper, and both drivers were fighting to keep their cars under control as they battled through traffic.
As the leaders sliced and diced their way through slower cars, Shultz found his opportunity and worked his way around Wagner with just five laps to go. Shultz completed the late-race pass and held on to capture an exciting East Coast TQ Midget Feature victory.
Alex Greenzweig dominated the 20-lap Microstock feature, leading every lap en route to a commanding victory. Despite one caution slowing the event, Greenzweig remained unchallenged throughout the race, controlling the field from start to finish.

The Northeast Antique Auto Racing Association saw a first time winner in Jerry Garris, Jerry became the 4th member of the Garris family to win a feature at Mahoning Valley Speedway, joining brothers Mikey and Jay and father Mike “Critter” Garris! Even sweeter? It was Jerry’s FIRST career win at the same track where his family made their winning memories!

Wyatt Fulmer and Paul Mercante both came away victorious in the Old School Promotions Twin 30 Junk Car Main Events!
The junk car races have been wild and crazy all season long, keeping everyone on their toes and making it tough to know where to look as battles raged throughout the field. With action happening in every direction, one thing was certain: the name of the game was survival!
Fulmer and Mercante did exactly what they needed to do, surviving the chaos and coming out on top to capture their respective main event victories!
