Happy Wednesday everyone! Here's another before and after for you!

This is a good example of what could happen if you don't get that chip in your window fixed. Notice how there is one impact point but many lines that go all the way up the glass. This can happen for many reasons but the main ones are weather conditions, sudden changes of temperature of the glass, and contamination. Once again you don't have to worry about the structural integrity of your windshield because it is laminated, but that crack will be a problem if it runs into your line of sight.

(Also the tape on the windshield wiper is just a reminder to the customer to change out their wipers before they use them)

This before-and-after is a great reminder of just how strong your windshield really is.

Even after taking a serious impact, notice how the glass stayed together instead of collapsing into the vehicle. That's because windshields are made with two layers of glass bonded together by a strong laminate layer.
