Well the day has come to formally announce the start of a new chapter in my life. I will be starting a new full time position next Monday. I will continue to help all those that have expressed interest in tires for the end of the year. I will continue to support existing customers from here until I don’t currently own the business or make the official end date announced. I have been given a great opportunity in the maintenance field as a lead at a local growing steel company. I look forward to helping them grow and set the standard for the maintenance team in that location. I believe it will be an excellent fit for everyone and look forward to helping them out with their aggressive business plans. The growth there is just starting and will continue to grow at a great pace from what I am told. I want to thank everyone who has been a customer and wish someone would have stepped forward to do this business to continue it. The business is already setup and running very well. I just don’t want to do it any longer. I hope someone will eventually take it over but for right now I’ll just shut it down as my primary business and focus on my full time employment. That’s not only fair to my employer but morally and ethically wrong to run it without primary care to my employer. So if you reach out please understand there may be some delays in response time that wasn’t there before. I have to shift my focus to my new role and will have to let some of the other stuff take a backseat. I appreciate your understanding of this matter. Once again thank you for the last 8 1/2 years it has been beyond great and appreciate everyone’s support and understanding. Please reach out if you need help finding a new tire location in the mean time I have a bunch all over but there isn’t any good mobile options out there at this time.

So as I get to the end of my time running Tires to Your Spot. I have made the decision regardless of whether I sell the business or not I will be shutting it down at the end of the year pending me finding employment. I am actively seeking employment and hope to have something lined up shortly. I want to take the time to thank everyone of my customers for the 8 1/2 great years it has been. I am not shutting it down because of the business not doing well, I am just completely bored with doing tires. I love the customer interaction and will miss that the most. I can safely say I have made some great connections and friendships over the years. Everyone of my customers has been extremely important to me and I truly appreciate everyone of you. I was hoping to have the business sold by the end of the year but it’s a bad time I guess to sell as interest rates are terrible and people have seen a terrible pinch on their free money the last 3 1/2 years. I am sad to see it go but it’s time for me to move on and find something that I enjoy and am not bored with. It has been a very successful venture on many levels and I wish someone could continue it. I truly believe mobile tire is the future of tire business in the next 20 years. There are some challenges but I think as costs increase for buildings and such mobile will be the way to go. I will still be doing tires until the end of the year even if I find employment I will continue to service all my existing and new customer until then. If by some reason I do sell the business it is in my best interest to help the new owners continue the business and show them everything I know about it. I honestly would love to see someone take it and grow it like crazy. It can be done if you have the fortitude and determination to do it. I lost interest in the business last year and couldn’t get my head back into it. So it has to go for my well being and my family and everything else going on in my life. Again thank you to everyone who helped my business be successful I truly appreciate it.

With the cold weather coming and already kinda here, this is the yearly reminder to not get freaked out by the tpms sensor coming on if you are on the edge of the limits set in your car. Simply hit a Wawa or sheetz for a burst of air to get it back to your recommended tire pressure. However if you have this come up you have a failing tpms sensor and should consider replacing it. Depending on the age you would want to replace all 4 at the same time because when one goes they all tend to be in similar condition.

If your tires are balanced like this find a new tire business. This is not the way to properly balance tires.

Know someone who is tired of their daily grind? Someone that’s ambitious and willing to go the extra mile to make more money? Someone that treats people with integrity and wants to get ahead in life with the hard work they put in and the rewards of their efforts?
