Surprise! Dulles Barktober may be over, but we couldn't help ourselves. We have one more pup to show who's looking for their furever home with the help of To The Rescue, Inc.

Everyone, meet Zeke. This 8-week old Beagle mix pup is the sweetest lil' boy we ever did see. He was rescued with his siblings from a kill shelter and is looking for someone in need of some major playtime and cuddles. Zeke is friendly with other animals and loves being picked up and starting conversations. He will likely grow up to be a medium-sized dog, is up to date on his shots/deworming/microchip, and is ready to find his new family!

It's the one and only Cher! Ok, maybe she's actually a puppy, but this 10-week-old Boxer/Terrier mix is just as lovable. Cher was rescued with two of her sisters from a shelter in North Carolina, and gets along swimmingly with other dogs, children, and even cats! She's up to date on shots, and is ready to find a family of her own.

Leesburg has had an annual Halloween parade since 1957, and since at least 1964 the Leesburg Kiwanis club has singlehandedly organized and sponsored it. This year will be its 63rd anniversary.

Dulles Barktober is still going strong with their mission to help pups find their furever home with To The Rescue, Inc.

The spotlight is on Suzie this week, a 2-4-year-old Shepherd mix. This 45-lbs. mama was rescued with her pups from a kill shelter and is excited to be someone's love bug. She has a medium level of energy that's perfect for walks and playdates in the park. She's friendly with other dogs, kids, and cats, and is up to date on shots/microchipped/spayed.
