Today's engines have changed dramatically in the last few years with the application of GDI (gasoline direct injection) and turbochargers making there way under most hoods after 2014. The preventive maintenance and regular oil changes (with the proper oil and viscosity) are now more important than ever. Here are a few photos of a important new process of decarbonization of the intake valves that must be done on most GDI engines to preserve proper idle and power delivery. Auto Solutions strives to deliver the newest strategys and methods to protect and preserve your investment in your automobile.

Jake Waltman Racing Fans, Last night was our final tune-up at Dominion Raceway before the US Legends/INEX National Championship to be held there in three weeks. To say the 860 Motorsports crew did a heck of job on the #6 car all day long would be an understatement. CJ, Cal, Spencer and the entire crew spent the entire day fighting one problem after another. First a broken rear housing, then a clutch failure, then a ruptured brake-line (not to mention a flat on the hauler on the way of from NC). While Jake was Top-5 in the practice final practice session, he would qualify P9. However, when the checkers flew, he would finish P4 in a really competitive field. Thank you to our fantastic sponsors for all the support this year: Glory Days Grill Auto Solutions Champions For Oral Health (Drs. Kasperowski) We now set our sights on the Asphalt National Championship at DR October 7-9.
JAW Race Fans, We just got home from the final round of the 2021 Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway. This was Jake's first year racing in US Legends/INEX premiere series as a Pro. The Shootout was shortened from 10 races to 8 due to weather and COVID concerns, but in the end, Jake finished with 4-Top 5's and on the overall series winner's podium finishing 5th in overall Pro points. In addition to Jake, the 860 Motorsports team had a really good showing across multiple divisions with teammates Cameron Bolin Cameron Bolin Racing winning the Semi-Pro Championship, Carl Cormier taking 3rd in Masters, and Carson Poindexter Carson Poindexter Racing getting his first Top-5 finish in the final Semi-Pro feature. Thank you to the entire 860 Motorsports team 860 Motorsports, CJ, Cal, George, Roger, and Spencer, for giving us a fast car every week. Thank you also to our sponsors: Auto Solutions Auto Solutions Glory Days Grill Glorydays Champions For Oral Health (Drs. Kasperowski) Champions For Oral Health for believing in Jake and supporting his passion. Special thanks this week also to Michael Munley Michael Munley Motorsports Motorsports for coming out and supporting us. We are now off for a few weeks and look forward to a few local races at Dominion Raceway. Check back here for when you can come on out and support Jake as he tunes-up for the National Championship at Dominion in October. Dominion Raceway in Spotsylvania Virginia
Jake Waltman Racing Fans, Last two weeks (rounds 7, 8 and 9) at the Summer Shootout have been challenging on many fronts. Round 7 saw us overcome a very poor qualifying effort, finish P2, only to be DQ'd in post race technical inspection, and then have the DQ overturned later in the week. Jake even remarked after the race while in tech that it may have been one of his single best on track performances, driving from the back to the front in race chocked full of incidents. Rounds 8 and 9 were slated for this past Monday and Tuesday. We had a really good Monday practice, then the rain came and postponed the features. Twin races were then scheduled for Tuesday, but were abruptly cancelled out of an abundance of caution due to potential COVID concerns at the track. This sets the stage for a triple header next week to decide the Summer Shootout Championship. With three races to go, Jake is running 4th in overall Pro points, with positions 2, 3, and 4 separated by less than 5 points. With a stout field of pro drivers we will need to bring our "A" game with our sights set on Top-5 overall finish at US Legends/INEX Crown Jewel series. As always, thanks to our sponsors for supporting Jake in his racing endeavors: Auto Solutions Champions For Oral Health (Drs. Kasperowski) Glory Days Grill as well as our 860 Motorsports team, CJ, Cal, Roger, Spencer, and George who work tirelessly on the cars giving us the best chance to compete each and every week.
Jake Waltman Racing Fans, Just got back from Round 5 of the SSO and are officially halfway through this years series. The intensity and aggressiveness was certainly higher in Round 5. Jake was able to run some of his best laps at the Monday practice session, however we were not as good in Tuesday's qualifying which landed us at P8 0.221 seconds from the pole sitter. We did manage to finish on the podium, P3, after a very physical race which included several cautions. Round 6 next week! Thank you our sponsors: Auto Solutions Glory Days Grill Champions For Oral Health (Drs. Kasperowski) Thanks to CJ, Cal, Roger, Spencer, and George at 860 Motorsports for constantly working on the car and giving us an opportunity to be competitive each week!
Jake Waltman Racing Fans, Raceday, Round 7 of 10 of Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway! However, no one told Mother Nature about yesterday's practice. The session started out hot, really hot, with track temperatures approaching 140 degrees. That would change very quickly when the blistering temperatures gave way to (the marginally predicted) thunderstorms. With the skies opening up and washing out the practice session due to lightning, we will have additional practice today and the Round 7 feature tonight. Tune into all the action at LegendsNation.com at 3:30pm and watch Jake pilot the #6 Auto Solutions, Glory Days Grill, Chad Kasperowski, DMD, FAGD, Zaxby's machine as he takes on some of the best Semi-Pro Legends drivers from around the country at Americas Home for Racing - Charlotte Motor Speedway!
Jake Waltman Racing Fans, What an incredible night of racing in Round 5 of the Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway! What very well may be the closest race ever run at the speedway at any level, Jake won his 4th consecutive Shootout race by 0.002 seconds. Our team at Cram Racing Enterprises, Crew Chief Kevin and Engineer Dawson built one heck of a fast race car and week over week have developed spectacular race day strategies helping Jake to not only win races, but improve as a driver every time he straps in. To our corporate sponsors: Chad Kasperowski, DMD, FAGD, Zaxby's, Auto Solutions , Glory Days Grill you have supported us and without whose help, none of this is possible. Jake takes to the track for Round 6 today at 4:30p! Tune into LegendsNation.com for all the live racing action.

Jake Waltman Racing Fans, Today was Round 5 of the 2020 Winter Heats. It was the first race on the 1.5 mile, 14-turn Charlotte Motor Speedway long road course. We qualified P3, 1.472s behind the pole sitter. The race was long (36 minutes) with several cautions. While running P3, on the fastest part of the course three turns from the checkered flag, Jake experienced severe brake fade with the brake pedal going to the floor at the entrance to turn 12. Unfortunately this resulted in us running into the back of the P2 car (who as a result finished P5, for which Jake later apologized). Jake managed to gather up the car and finish P4. Thank you our sponsors Glory Days Grill, Chad Kasperowski, DMD, FAGD, Auto Solutions, and Zaxby's for their continued support! Thank you again to our team at Cram Racing Enterprises for a fast car, allowing us to be competitive week after week. Tomorrow we are back on the road course for Round 6.
