Testing for permits & driver licenses are done at the Highway Patrol Testing center. Once you have completed your testing then come to our office.

New office with new management.
Update: The State has provided a moving schedule. We will be closed November 10-15 As part of the transition. The new office will open next door on November 17. Their hours will be M-F from 9-5.

Beware of text scams. The Missouri Department of Revenue using USPS to deliver notifications not Text. Toll booth fees are also a scam. Always check before you click. There are several ways to verify a scam online.

The Department of Revenue said it will never send threatening, "last warning" type messages.

Don’t Have Your Acceptable ID?

The TSA officer may ask you to complete an identity verification process which includes collecting information such as your name and current address to confirm your identity. If your identity is confirmed, you will be allowed to enter the screening checkpoint, where you may be subject to additional screening.

You will not be allowed to enter the security checkpoint if you choose to not provide acceptable identification, you decline to cooperate with the identity verification process, or your identity cannot be confirmed.

The TSA Identification Requirements page outlines acceptable forms of ID for travelers at airport security checkpoints.

TSA approved Real ID's are beneficial for boarding domestic flights, entering State and Federal Buildings, Nuclear Power Plants and Military Installations. If you don't do these things you don't need one. If you have a passport you don't need one. You can do all these things without a Real ID but you have to undergo additional scrutiny. We will continue to issue Real ID licenses after 5/7/25. If you are not traveling this summer you can WAIT to get your Real ID license.
