This is why you change your own oil. Local dealership put the filter on so tight it was smashed trying to get it free from the car. I’ve done worse ones but every single time it annoys me.

Do your own oil or go to a trusted mechanic. Avoid quick l***s and dealerships!

This is why you don’t “top off” modern cars. I’ve run into this issue on a few vehicles. They’ll have issues with pumping gas and the pump shutting off… sometimes the v***r hose is simply clogged, but other times is issues where the venting system is completely messed up from overfilling.

When the pump shuts off just stop! Spare yourself a possibly unnecessary expense.
