This is the week in which Jesus enters Jerusalem. Remember that because Jesus was Also human he had all the thoughts and feeling we would have about being crucified running through his mind and body. He was also God, so he knew as he entered the city what his fate was. When I think about how as he is being humiliated and beaten and the angry crowds spit on him, and made fun of him he could have turned to them and wiped them out, set them on fire, or worse, if he would have been weak like us. Remember, Pilot said, I find no fault in this man… Satan himself and his demons showed up on site because they really thought they had outsmarted God. If they kill Christ, it would be game over. Little did they know God was freeing mankind with the Perfect Lamb who he sent to save us!!!! Christ being God knew everything about each and every one of them, how guilty they were and how innocent he was, but our Lord and Savior took the horrible torture and beating and suffered a horrible death for our sake. Remember, the Romans had persecution down to a science. The night before his death he is in the garden alone praying to God. At this point you have no earthly friends or family with you and you know you are hours away from horrible persecution and certain death. It is hard to believe we could subject an innocent man to this kind of treatment, but it shows so clear the fact that we need a savior. With all the unsettled things going on in our lives and our nation, let’s remember to honor God this weekend by praying, and dwelling upon the Son he sent to die for us. Can anyone with children imagine the pain and anguish God was feeling with his son on the cross????? How about Mary who was sitting right there below Jesus. Wow, please remember in the hustle and bustle of your life to give thanks and praise for all that God has done for us. What a privilege to worship the one and only True and Just God……….HAPPY EASTER and God Bless!

Matthew 27:33-44
33And when they came to a place called Golgotha, which means Place of a Skull, 34they gave Him wine to drink mixed with gall; and after tasting it, He was unwilling to drink. 35And when they had crucified Him, they divided up His garments among themselves by casting lots. 36And sitting down, they began to keep watch over Him there. 37And above His head they put up the charge against Him which read, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS." 38At that time two robbers were crucified with Him, one on the right and one on the left. 39And those passing by were hurling abuse at Him, wagging their heads 40and saying, "You who are going to destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, save Yourself! (J)If You are the Son of God, come down from the cross." 41In the same way the chief priests also, along with the scribes and elders, were mocking Him and saying, 42"He saved others; He cannot save Himself He is the King of Israel; let Him now come down from the cross, and we will believe in Him. 43"HE TRUSTS IN GOD; LET GOD RESCUE Him now, IF HE DELIGHTS IN HIM; for He said, 'I am the Son of God.'" 44The robbers who had been crucified with Him were also insulting Him with the same words. Happy Easter, Mark Thomas

Merry Christmas!!!
Luke 2: 1 In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world.
2 (This was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria.)
3 And everyone went to his own town to register.
4 So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David.
5 He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child.
6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born,
7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
8 And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night.
9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.
10 But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.
11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ [1] the Lord.
12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."
13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
14 "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."
15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, "Let's go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about."
16 So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger.
17 When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child,
18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them.
19 But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.
20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.
21 On the eighth day, when it was time to circumcise him, he was named Jesus, the name the angel had given him before he had been conceived.
22 When the time of their purification according to the Law of Moses had been completed, Joseph and Mary took him to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord
23
(as it is written in the Law of the Lord, "Every firstborn male is to be consecrated to the Lord" [2] ),
