I want to share a little more of Brian Isomās story.
Brian raced in the early ā90s, spending a lot of nights at Lebanon I-44 Speedway and Speedway USA in Bolivar in his #25 Late Model Sportsman car. He wasnāt just a name on a roster, he put in the work, earned Rookie of the Year honors in 1993 in the Late Model Sportsman class, and built memories that his family still talks about today.
Recently, his family lit up a shadow box with his original fire suit, gloves, shoes, and NASCAR license, still carrying the dirt and oil from those race nights. Turning that light on again after years was a big step for them, and itās part of what makes this weekendās tribute so meaningful.
Saturday night, the #70 Medicare Precision Crown Vic will carry Brianās name, photo, and number on the Cāpillars as a way of saying his time at this track is not forgotten.
The photo is Brian holding his Rookie of the Year trophy and the shadow box in JRās (Brian's dad) shop, with Brianās original fire suit, gloves, shoes, and NASCAR gear, finally lit up again after three years.
