Haters will say a lot of things to try to convince you to spend more. Front brakes on a trailblazer $225. Turn rotors, service calipers and brackets and replace pads. We actually charged the customer less for the pads than the vendor would have. Rotors are still above minimum machine and the customer gets new brakes at a reasonable price.

We are offering R134A ac services done the right way for $135. Each service includes an initial inspection of the system...

We are offering R134A ac services done the right way for $135. Each service includes an initial inspection of the system, removal of all existing refrigerant, placing the system under vacuum, injecting the correct type and amount of oil with uv dye, recharging the system with the correct amount of r134a and verification everything is working correctly. In the event of a leak, there is 15 minutes of time with a uv light included to find it. We will be able to start offering r1234yf services on the 13th. That will be the same service process, but because of the cost of refrigerant, will be $300 and include the first .5 kilogram of refrigerant. A customer came in today looking for a second opinion. She had her truck at another shop and had complained of a crunching noise when she went over bumps. They quoted her ball joints, tie rods, and a steering box for $3500. We took a look at it. I think they missed the source of her noise.
