Good morning,

We have implemented a new process to help streamline refunds and service issues.

As of yesterday, QR codes have been posted in all open bays, as well as on the side of the vending machines and on the service door in the rear of the building.

When scanned, these QR codes will take you directly to our Refund Form. This form allows us to verify the issue and process refunds in a more organized and efficient manner.

Ladies and gentlemen this is a public service announcement from your friendly neighborhood carwash. This is an announcement I should have made awhile back but didn’t. I apologize for that.
In the beginning of January, I leased the carwash to another person to take over daily operations with intent to buy at the end of the year. He has a lot of improvements planned that I think you will all like. The reason for this is I am getting old lol. If you all remember when I first bought the place, there was a “ learning curve” and it took time to be able to identify issues or potential issues at the carwash. I asked you all to contact me directly if you had an issue and I would take care of it It’s very hard to check every function on every machine every day. Please give the new operator the same patience you gave me and send a direct message to this page if you have an issue.

Ladies and gentlemen this is a public service announcement from your friendly neighborhood carwash.
Well we had a first today. On the evening check I found the south soda machine jammed with something other than real American coins. That in itself is not a first. We have found pennies, pesos, cup holder change stuck together, 1/2 dollar etc etc. However, this is the first time we have found old brass arcade tokens. They are close to quarter size but just a little bigger so they jammed everything up. I guess it was a good idea unti it wasn’t. Apologies to the folks that put change in after genius was there that didn’t go through. It takes about 30 minutes to take the changer apart and get the foreign crap out. I’m not upset though, since these particular tokens are selling for $50 + each on eBay 😉.

Ladies and gentlemen this is a public service announcement from your friendly neighborhood carwash. We were just sitting here and realized we didn’t tell you we got a new to us soda machine last week. Sorry about that. The machine on the right hasn’t worked in a couple years. Excel bottling had told us they would get us another. Long story short , couple years later, they came through!
Right now that machine is filled with pretty much the same products as the other with one exception. It has frostie root beer in cans! Our plan is to migrate to having other things in there like we did before. We are thinking Coke, Pepsi, Dr Pepper etc.
Well thats about it for tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen this is a public service announcement from your friendly neighborhood carwash.
We have a couple operational things to share with you tonight. First, it was brought to our attention that bay #3 was not registering all coins. I verified this and put tape over the coin slot with a note “CARD ONLY”. The problem is the rejection sensor. I didn’t have a spare so we contacted the repair service and they will probably be out tomorrow or Thursday.
Next, we had 2 coin jambs tonight. One in bay #4 and also the soda machine. The first picture is what I found in bay 4. A single penny. I almost would understand if I found 25 Pennie’s but only 1 is pretty much vandalism in my book. Next pics are what I found in soda machine. Using pennies and tokens might seem like a good idea until it isn’t. Not only did the person not get a free soda , they screwed it up for the next person. NOTHING will work but real US coins. We have found tokens , slugs , pesos etc etc. all they do is jamb the machine. None of those will work. Please stop trying to get something for nothing. The only thing it does is keep the next person willing to pay from getting anything. We apologize to the folks that got ripped off so to speak. Unfortunately there isn’t really anything we can do to prevent things like this.

Bays #3 & #4 are back open. Sorry for the inconvenience. Keep in mind that even though the frigid low temps are behind us it seems , the foam brushes may freeze in the high 20’s.

Ladies and gentlemen this is a public service announcement from your friendly neighborhood carwash.
Due to the rather crappy weather forecast for this weekend and next week- here are our current plans.You have probably noticed bays #1 and #2 have been closed for a couple weeks. There’s not an issue , just our normal procedure for winter. Tomorrow afternoon we will close bays #3 and #4. This is not so much because of snow but the predicted single digit temperatures next week. If the forecast holds , we will most likely be closed until next Saturday. The vacuum islands and soda machine will be on but the carwash bays will be closed. The change machine will also be unavailable until the cold snap is over. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Ladies and gentlemen this is a public service announcement from your friendly neighborhood carwash. We have a few things to share tonight. First off you may have noticed bay #3 was closed most of the day. The problem has been resolved and it is back open. You also may have noticed bay #2 also closed. We have a mechanical issue that we hope to have rectified in the next day or so. Lastly, you also may or may not already know but Excel bottling company is not producing cherry Ski cans for the foreseeable future. We just found out today. Apparently some kind of contractual issue. I was off from my real job today and 3 Dollar General’s, 3 grocery stores , and a Walmart later, I found zero cherry Ski cans. We put our last 2 cases in the machine tonight and when it’s gone it’s gone. Once we run out we will come up with a substitute- not sure what yet. Suggestions are welcome though.

Ladies and gentlemen,
This is an update to a previous public service announcement from your friendly neighborhood carwash.
Today was a satisfying day. The person that broke into and damaged our vacuum/fragrance machine was apprehended by the Lebanon PD. We know there’s already been a post on teddy’s page with a pic— thanks for that! Also a question about how LPD knew. So here’s the story as we know it.
After our initial post, a fellow carwash owner, and now good friend, contacted us to say he had been face to face with this person as he tried to break into his carwash and sent us some info that was passed along to LPD. He also “put the word out” to other carwash owners he knew to be on the lookout for this truck. Well this afternoon, a fellow carwash owner was going through town and saw the truck at Shell. He contacted our friend who in turn called Lebanon PD. The officer on duty immediately went to Shell and took care of business! We would like to say a big THANK YOU to our fellow carwash owners that helped, those who sent pics -you know who you are, but ESPECIALLY the Lebanon PD!! Lebanon PD have been awesome since we called it in, every tip we received was immediately followed up and investigated, we can’t thank you guys enough. Also, we would like to apologize to the owners and managers on duty today at Shell for our situation interrupting your business today.
We are adding a few “satisfying” pictures, some we took and some that were sent to us.
