This door was CRUUUUUSSSSTY! It gets direct sun all day long. On top of being 25+ years old, it had also been refinished, poorly, a couple times.
I went in with Varathane® in Kona and got this entry way looking beautiful again.
On top of that, I got to meet a wonderful homeowner. He fed me butter cookies and diet coke....it was like he knew me!

On to the next!

I was shocked to discover that this door was fiberglass. It can be really hard to tell sometimes...even when you're there and up close.
No matter! The process is the same. The improvement is the same.
This one is Varathane® in Kona. It's one of my favorites!

It's that time of year! Time to get your home ready for the holidays. Time to erase the damage done by the brutal summer heat.
This was refinished with Varathane® in black (my favorite!!) and sealed with BEHR® Paint spar urathane in satin.
I LOOOOOOVE a black door! It is a perfect compliment to whatever color your home is.

OK bear with me...I'm on the hunt for a new app to help with staging. The one I was using has gotten to be ridiculously expensive. These are chat gpt and I feel like it's just too much. What do you think?

Anyway, I think this transformation came out really beautifully. This was originally a vanity...please don't come at me for taking it apart. No one is using a vanity like that anymore. Turning it into nightstands is a great way to keep it out of the landfill.

This design was perfect for separation because there was minimal damage from where it was all connected. 🎉🎉🎉

I am on a mission to use up supplies I have on hand so I went with in Bellwood. I honestly don't know how to explain this color. It's it grey with blue undertones? Grey with green undertones? Green with grey undertones? Whatever it is, it is beautiful.

I had 4 of the original hardware and after cleaning them they were a perfect match with some k***s I had on hand. Finished up with a contrasting sunflower paper in the drawers. Stunning!

These are antique so there are a lot of quirks and character in line with something this age.

TINY WIN! 🎉🎉🎉
If you've ever flipped a piece of furniture, you'll know that it hardly ever goes perfectly smooth. You need 5 k***s, but only have 4 and to order more only comes in a pack of 18. The screws for the hardware are too long...or too short. There's an ugly gap where these two nightstands used to be connected as a vanity and you have to hunt all the aisles at HD to find something to work.
Well! I had some left over pole wrap from another project and two little sections fit that gap PERFECTLY!
