Not every trailer that comes through our shop is just a trailer.

Sometimes it's a piece of someone's history.

When Hutch brought us this trailer, he wasn't looking to replace it, he wanted to preserve it. We were honored to help bring it back to life with a fresh powder coated finish, custom toolbox, spare tire carrier, and military-inspired colors that pay tribute to an era of service and sacrifice.

The custom "Restored For Hutch" tribute inside the toolbox might be our favorite detail.

Thank you for your service, Hutch. It was an honor to help preserve a small piece of your story.

This Memorial Day, we remember those who carried the weight of freedom on their shoulders, and gave everything for it.

Out of respect for the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice, Pettus Trailers will be closed today as our team takes time to reflect, honor, and spend time with family.

Today is bigger than work. Bigger than business. It’s about gratitude for the freedoms we often take for granted and remembering the heroes who never made it home.

Behind every great family is a mom carrying more than anyone realizes.

The schedules.
The snacks.
The sports gear.
The laundry.
The “Mom, I forgot…” emergencies.
And somehow… everybody else’s stress too.

Honestly, we’d need one of our biggest trailers just to haul all the appreciation moms deserve. ❤️
