This is my go to setup for one off little things. No soft jaws and only one setting of the g54. I put a stop on the backside and set my g54 in the center that way you just flip and go. Normally I would give myself a little room on the last cut to clean up later but it’s for the shop and I will probably polish this up just because.

Last weeks project. Not my first choice of a fix for this but I was asked if I could weld this up . I had my doubts but I took my time welding and tried not to over heat the shaft. Chucked it up in the lathe and cleaned it up and then it was on to the mill to do some 3D mill work. Not much room on the mill with the dividing head on there. This project was fun.

I love playing with trim work. It pushes my skill set to the max. There is no body filler or high build primers to hide...

I love playing with trim work. It pushes my skill set to the max. There is no body filler or high build primers to hide what’s underneath. Your skill is what is shining at the end. I had to cut out 6in and fix about a 3in long dent right on the ridge. The one on the left is factory.
