Client reached out to us via Thumbtack.com.

They previously had window film installed a few years ago. The window film went bad. The original installation company refused to honor their warranty.

I replaced all.of the film and replaced with Sunscape Select DL20.

DL20 allows 19% of the light in and rejects 66% of the solar energy.

When the project was completed, I provided them with a manufacturer backed lifetime warranty. If anytime there is a warranty issue and I cannot be found, there is the contact information of the manufacturer.

Client reached out to us with a couple of concerns. They just moved into their new house and had a privacy issue. Their bedroom faces the street.

I did something a little different, I stacked window film.

Since these windows face east, they were experiencing morning glare and it was keeping them from sleeping in in the morning. And since the windows face the street, they wanted to be able to not be seen at night.

The first photo is Sunscape Select DL10installed on the right two doors. This is to reduce glare and heat. This film allows 10% of the light in, and rejects 70% of the solar energy. Excellent day time privacy.

Make note on how vivid the colors are on the house on the right verses the house on the left. That is a huge benefit of what window film can do, provide a cleaner more vivid view of the world.

Once I installed DL10, I then installed Madico MT-200 white frost over the film. This is a privacy film. It allows light in, yet opaques the glass for privacy. I also installed MT-200 to all of the bathrooms and the entrance doors and windows.

Now, the customer can sleep up without that excessive morning glare. And they are able to walk around the house without being seen at night. The baths and entry still have a good amount of light filtering in while providing the needed privacy.

Client reached out with concerns about excessive heat gain through their windows throughout the day. This time of year pretty much every window gets direct sunlight causing the HVAC system to work hard..

Installed a film I had not installed in quite a few years, Madico Sunscape Select SF25. This is a bronze film. It is sputtered meaning the copper metal is broken down to the molecular level and layered onto the clear polyester. Copper has incredible solar properties. Madico makes a very beautiful bronze film. Most film manufacturers make their product that looks like a shiny new penny. This product has a soft bronze hue and is pleasing to the eyes.

SF25 allows 25% of the light in, and rejects 72% of the solar energy. All of the films I install block at least 99% of the UV to help protect furnishing from fading.

Happy Friday everyone

I work with other installation companies throughout Tennessee and other states. When they have too large of a project for them to handle, they reach out to me for help. When I am in that same situation, I reach out to them for help.

Project is in Nashville

The restaurant on the first floor also occupies the second floor for storage. These HUGE windows face West. In the afternoon the temperatures have become unbearable for their staff to spend any time up there. And since they are storing canned food products, this can create issues as well.

Installed a product similar to Madico Optivision 5. It is a dual reflective product, meaning the metal layer is facing outside with a non reflective layer laminated on the inner later. Mirrored outside, much less reflective inside.

This film allows 5% of the light in and rejects 80% of the solar energy. Huge reduction of glare and heat passing through the windows.

This project was pushing towards 2000 square feet. We completed the project in one day.

The employees said they felt a huge difference once the film was installed.

I have over 200 products available to me just to reduce solar heat passing through the windows. It all depends on what you want the windows to look like once the film is installed.

After the installation, I watched a barge go by before I left. That was fun to see.
