Night Time Storms We had 4 breakaways 4 on Land and 1 pontoon to Rescue today Sunday I ran a small crew because of the sideways docks we need rest of the crew because the mud was to deep on one but not a big deal just need bigger boards and 1 we moved 8 feet but the terrain was making the back of the dock dig into the sand and front go up in air a foot or so but not a biggie either just need 2 more jacks but they will move or ill have to come up with a new plan but I think we have it figured out. We did get the tritoon off with no damage to boat or lift,,,,, it was a good day. here a few pics God Bless

Florida’s beautiful lakes and waterways offer endless opportunities for recreation—but every trip should begin with safety.

Join the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Jacksonville District in making water safety a priority every time you visit one of our parks and recreation areas.

Before you head out:
🦺 Wear a properly fitted, U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket.
👨‍👩‍👧 Keep children within arm’s reach whenever they’re in or near the water.
🌦️ Check the weather forecast and water conditions before launching or swimming.
🚫 Never operate a boat or swim under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
📍 Swim only in designated areas and follow all posted signs and instructions.

Need a life jacket? Some Jacksonville District recreation areas feature Life Jacket Loaner Stations, where visitors can borrow a life jacket at no cost during their visit. Look for the loaner station signs near beaches, boat ramps and other popular recreation areas.

A few simple choices can make all the difference. Help us keep our waterways safe by sharing these tips with your family and friends. Together, we can make every day on the water a safe one.

You should KNOT be boating without knowing your NOTS!

Using the right knot is critical to making sure your vessel is secure, so it doesn’t drift away. Many people drown every year trying to retrieve their boat, so please wear a life jacket when you’re retrieving anything in the water.
