🚨 REMINDER: MOVE OVER AND SLOW DOWN!!!🚨
After a vehcile flying by and not moving over on a dual wrecker scene assisting a multi-vehicle accident this morning..

Why slow down and move over?

These laws are in place to protect the safety of tow truck operators, emergency responders, and other roadside workers who are at risk of being hit by passing vehicles.

What does "move over" mean?

If there's an open lane next to the one the stopped vehicle is on, and it's safe to do so, you should move into that lane to create a buffer zone.

What if you can't move over?

If you can't safely move over, you should slow down to a safe speed, maintaining a safe distance from the stopped vehicle.
