We've been taking care of this F-150 since 2023, and its owners have become truly valued members of the OCD family.

Back in 2023, we protected the paint with FEYNLAB Ceramic Coating. With proper yearly maintenance, it's still looking fantastic and proving that long-term protection is all about quality products and consistent care.

Last year, we protected the undercarriage with Woolwax. This visit was simply a thorough undercarriage wash, inspection, and touch-up to keep everything protected and ready for another year of Iowa roads, salt, and whatever Mother Nature throws at it.

This is what we love to see: vehicles that continue to look great year after year because they're maintained, not neglected.

Another skid loader getting its interior restored!

One of the most overlooked parts of equipment maintenance is the cab. Dust, dirt, grease, and debris build up over time, finding their way into vents, switches, controls, seat tracks, and other critical components.

A yearly interior restoration helps improve air quality, visibility, operator comfort, and can even extend the life of interior components by reducing wear and contamination.

If you spend hundreds of hours a year in your machine, the cab deserves the same attention as the engine, hydraulics, and undercarriage.

This one is getting the full OCD treatment and will be heading back to work looking and feeling its best.

35,000 miles. Never decontaminated.
That purple you're seeing isn't soap.
It's thousands of embedded iron particles being dissolved out of the paint on this 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
What looked clean was actually loaded with rail dust, brake dust, and industrial fallout buried deep in the clear coat.
Everything turning purple was contamination hiding in the paint.
This is why a wash alone isn't enough.

This is the difference between an interior detail and an Interior Restoration.

ANYBODY can vacuum the carpets, wipe a dashboard, and call it done. Restoring an interior is a completely different animal.

For this Ford Flex we used:

• 3 gallons of APC
• 1 liter of enzyme cleaner
• 1 gallon of carpet extraction solution
• 72 microfiber towels
• 8 dedicated glass towels
• Multiple brushes, scrub pads, and detailing tools.
• Hours of steam cleaning
• Hot water extraction
• Compressed air
• Water-based dressing for a factory-new finish
• Weathertech mat restoration
• and more....

Most importantly...

14 HOURS of labor.

Every seat was scrubbed multiple times. Every crack, crevice, cupholder, vent, door pocket, seat track, and hard-to-reach area was cleaned by hand. Years of dust, body oils, spills, pet hair, stains, and grime didn't stand a chance.

The goal isn't to make an interior look "good enough."

The goal is to restore the original appearance, restore the original color, and restore the feeling you had when you first opened the door years ago.

That's why we call it an Interior Restoration.

What's the Lotus Effect?

When water beads up and rolls off your paint, taking dirt and contamination with it, that's called the Lotus Effect. The surface becomes so slick and hydrophobic that water simply doesn't want to stick around.

While we keep it simple and call it a "spray wax," the protection included in our Pro Exterior service is far from basic. We use professional-grade products designed to boost gloss, enhance water behavior, and provide real-world protection against the elements.

Depending on weather, mileage, and washing habits, this protection typically lasts around 2–4 months on a daily-driven vehicle.

The OCD name exists for a reason. I'm incredibly picky about what touches your vehicle. If it doesn't perform, doesn't last, or doesn't provide value, it doesn't make it into our process.

In just the last 90 days , we've had the privilege of working with this family multiple times.

First, we protected their SUV with a FEYNLAB ceramic coating. Then came another project (the one where we accidentally broke the windshield and made it right). Shortly after, they referred a family member to us, and we protected their new SUV with both FEYNLAB and Woolwax.

Now they're back again with their Jeep Grand Cherokee for Woolwax undercoating, paint protection, and a few other upgrades.

That's a lot of trust placed in one small business in a very short amount of time.
