Another busy and productive day for Hocking Hills RV Solutions! 🔧🚐

We started the morning replacing a failed awning motor on a Dometic 9100 Series awning.

Next, we tracked down a major propane leak coming from the gas line supplying the stove. We repaired the leak and used a manometer to pressure-test the LP system, confirming no additional leaks were detected! While on-site, we also diagnosed a failing furnace motor that we’ll be returning to replace at a later date.

To finish out the day, we headed to Hocking Hills State Park to replace a worn-out water pump for another customer. (Not pictured!)

Today we had the pleasure of helping both returning customers and new customers visiting from out of town!

Another busy day in the books for Hocking Hills RV Solutions! 🔧🚐

We started the day diagnosing a leak in a customer’s black tank flush system. We tracked it down to a leaking vacuum breaker behind the bathroom sink and replaced it with a new brass valve. We also pulled down the underbelly to check for any additional leaks. Thankfully, everything else checked out—but we did find and remove a rodent nest while we were in there! 🐭

Our second customer had damage to the rear cap of her fifth wheel after making contact with a log. Since she’ll be staying in the camper throughout the winter, we got everything put back together and sealed up to help keep the weather out.

We finished the day with a customer who had water constantly collecting around the toilet along with a toilet that was loose and wobbly. We replaced the flush valve and floor seal, then properly shimmed and secured the toilet.

Best of all, 2 out of our 3 customers today were repeat customers! We’re extremely thankful for everyone who continues to trust us with their RVs—and just as thankful for every new customer who gives us a chance to earn their business.

🎃 With Halloween coming up, we wanted to share a few spooky things we found during one of our most recent RV inspections! 👻

This customer had recently purchased their camper and called us because they had a feeling something just wasn’t right. Unfortunately, their instincts were correct.

⚡ We found multiple live 12-volt wires left loose where previous components had been removed.

⚡ A live 120-volt wire running through the front compartment with damaged insulation and exposed wiring.

⚡ And some questionable modifications to the A/C wiring that definitely needed attention.

These aren’t just little maintenance issues—they can become serious electrical and fire hazards.

If you’re thinking about buying a used camper, have it inspected BEFORE you buy! A professional inspection can uncover hidden problems before they become your problems.

And just like that, three more happy customers in the books! 🙌

We started the day by installing a new Coleman Mach 10 with a heat pump for a return customer.

Next up, we replaced a faulty awning motor on a Dometic 9200 Series awning and adjusted the fabric to get everything lined up and closing properly again.

We finished the day with a beautiful new awning fabric installation from ShadePro! Unfortunately, that one isn’t pictured because it was already dark by the time we wrapped up.

From AC replacements to awning repairs and upgrades, we’re proud to keep helping our customers get their campers ready for the road.

Another successful day in the books! 🔧🏕️

We got this customer upgraded with a new LP gas/carbon monoxide detector and two brand-new awnings!

After sitting in the barn for the last two years, this camper is finally ready to hit the campground again!

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to perform a post-purchase inspection on this 2016 XLR toy hauler! 🔍🚐

We found a few small issues along the way, but overall, this unit was in great shape! That’s exactly why an RV inspection is so important — whether you’re buying a brand-new camper or a pre-owned RV.

An RV is made up of many different systems, and there’s a lot more to inspect than just checking for water damage or making sure everything looks good on the surface. A thorough inspection can include the roof, exterior seals, slide-outs, appliances, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, safety equipment, tires, brakes, and more.

For a post-purchase inspection, the goal is to give the new owner a better understanding of the condition of their RV and identify smaller problems before they have a chance to become major repairs. It can also help you prioritize maintenance and understand what needs attention now versus what can be monitored over time.

Buying an RV is a big investment. Having a professional inspection gives you valuable information about what you actually own and helps you enjoy your RV with greater confidence. 🛠️

We spent our morning at the Hocking County Fair getting a couple of A/C services taken care of for a customer! We also got him a new awning from ShadePro ordered, and we’ll be installing it as soon as it arrives. 🙌

Thankfully, this was only our second call to the fair this week—which means everything must be going smoothly! 😎

We hope everyone enjoys the rest of the fair and takes advantage of the cooler weather coming next week! 🍂

Another day, another happy tourist! 🚐☀️

This customer had their Grand Design Fifth Wheel out for its first trip of the season when they discovered a cracked water line in their water heater. Unfortunately, the location of the leak made repairing it impractical, considering the time and materials involved.

We were able to order a new water heater and get it installed in less than 2 days, saving the remainder of their vacation! 🙌
