*NOT A DETAILING POST* So this was very cool for me. This is a vehicle in need of a restoration in all areas, but looks really good if you step back a few feet and especially going down the road. I don't think the top is ever on this thing. Just a clean up today. Anyway...what made this so fun for me is that in '89-90 I went to Lincoln Technical Institute for automotive and diesel truck technology, in Indianapolis, Indiana. I was fortunate to graduate with honors and work as a mechanic in my home island of St. Croix USVI. One of the requirements for graduation was to rebuild the engine on a vehicle just like this one, and of course it had to work. We made our instructor proud and succeeded at that task. I was 20 years old. Im now 50. This brought back so many memories. I think I was smiling the whole time. This is an International Scout 2. I believe 1972. This one was just for me. 🙂

So this was kinda cool. This is an example of a car that had some clear coat issues on the hood as well as a bit of paint fade. Mainly on the trunk lid. Sometimes really satisfying results can be achieved without having to spend a lot of money. A competent, realistic, step back a few feet and enjoy, detail was all that was needed to make this BMW Z4 pop. Both the owner and I were very satisfied, especially for the money he spent. Not everyone can spend, or wants to spend big money on their details whether they have the money or not. The owner could have easily spent the money to have the car repainted, or high dollar detailed, but that just takes the fun out of the great deal the car was purchased for. Drop that top and turn up that stereo! A beach cruise down A1A in Ft. Lauderdale, or parking it on Las Olas for a Saturday night out.....perfectly suitable and ready for both!

2021 GMC YUKON. Man, I love this suv. Better be nice for the money. We sure didn't have this build quality and option list from an American company growing up as kids. I would have to hire someone to teach me all the options this thing comes with. Lol. Anyway, just cataloging some more work incase future clients want to take a look. Another paint sealant job. More paint sealant work. It really does look this good in person. These are always unfiltered pics. I always talk about levels in detailing. Have the courage to find your level and do the best you can. Not everyone can be an elite high end shop even though anything is possible! I have much respect for the master detailers that can detail circles around me, no wait probably not a good analogy. Circles are swirls...lol. 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️😆Anyway....thank you to my community and clients for supporting me for over 21 years. Merry Christmas to you all! 🙏❤.
