There is some confusion about the Greater Latrobe Speedway and the Latrobe Dirt Track that used to be Schmucker’s Speedway. They are not the same! Greater Latrobe Speedway held races in the 1950 and 1960’s. It was located in the Lawson Heights area.
If you want more information join us at The Greater Latrobe Speedway reunion this Saturday, April 13 at the St. James Lutheran Church in Youngstown, Pa.
There will be racing memorabilia and drivers that once raced on this track! This event is for everyone of all ages! If you have old pictures or racing memorabilia bring them along!

The spring Greater Latrobe Speedway Reunion was a huge success! It’s that time of the year for the Fall Reunion! This event is for all ages! Whether you were a driver, race fan or history buff...it’s your kind of day!With the weather turning colder why not come in where it’s warm and chat with some of the drivers, take pictures of the memorabilia and enjoy a fun filled day of when racing on dirt tracks was at its finest!
