📊 What is the used-vehicle market telling us as we head into the final quarter of 2026?

According to the latest data from Cox Automotive:
🚗 Used-vehicle sales are forecast to see slight growth in 2026
📦 Wholesale supply is expected to increase slowly as pandemic-era production constraints continue to impact inventory
📉 Wholesale vehicle values fell 1.1% in September compared to August
📊 Values remain above long-term averages, despite recently tracking below 2025 levels
🔑 New and used vehicle supply remained relatively steady throughout Q3
For dealers, inventory acquisition, pricing, and turnover will remain key as we close out the year.
