ICON is proud to introduce our 3.0 VS Front and Rear shocks as well as front Coilover Conversion Kits for 2005 to current Ford F250 & F350 trucks. Compared to 2.5 shocks, ICON 3.0 VS shocks feature a much larger piston and valve stack to increase available damping force. And the increased internal oil volume and external surface area improve heat dissipation and resistance to shock fade under hard use.
These 3.0 VS Shocks & Coilovers are available with ICON's CDCV or CDEV technology for full ride and performance adjustability. Our Compression Damping Control Valve (CDCV) features 10 manually adjustable settings to let drivers dial in their performance characteristics to suit their use case and driving style. Our cutting edge Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) works with ICON Intelligent Control to provide remote, electronic adjustability as well as on-the-fly, reactive damping control to yield optimal performance automatically, on the go, in real time as speeds and terrain conditions rapidly change
(3.0 VS COILOVER CONVERSION with CDCV/CDEV)
ICON's V.S. 3.0 Series Remote Reservoir CDCV Bolt-In Coilover Conversion Kit will add a new level of performance and adjustability to 2005-2026 F-250 and F-350 pickup trucks. The advantage of utilizing a coilover conversion kit is that they have been designed to increase the overall damping ability of the vehicle while at the same time allowing for user-defined ride height adjustment. 3.0 Series shocks boast 50% more piston surface area compared to 2.5 Series shocks. This translates into increased stability and vehicle control at the extremes of off-road use, with benefits also making themselves apparent in on-road driving conditions. Increased internal oil volume and more external surface area compared to 2.5 Series shocks offer improved heat dissipation and resistance to shock fade under hard use. Like all ICON shock absorbers, V.S. 3.0 Series shocks are 100% rebuildable and 100% revalveable. ICON's exclusive Compression Damping Control Valves are included for precisely dialing in your suspension performance. CDCV controls fluid flow under compression, allowing you to achieve the perfect tune whether driving on the street, slow-crawling through the rocks, or mobbing across the desert at full throttle.

The ICON CDE Valve upgrade is included for those desiring an easy way to tune the ride electronically from inside the vehicle. Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) is an electronically controlled valve that meters the flow of oil to regulate the amount of damping force that is created by the shock when compressed. This infinitely variable valve can react in less than 40ms and has the ability to make extremely precise adjustments for varying terrain. CDEVβs hydraulic circuits are also custom tailored per application to create the highest resolution and dynamic range allowable for each specific vehicle. Powered by ICON Intelligent Control and proprietary ICON mobile app, the system uses information from the onboard G-force sensor and Gyroscope to perform calculations based on algorithms and user-defined settings to predict terrain and adjust shock settings via the CDEV accordingly.
