Vehicle Storage and Late Pickup Fee Policy
Purpose
To ensure the efficient use of storage space and promote timely vehicle pickup, this policy outlines the conditions under which storage or late pickup fees will be applied to vehicles left beyond a reasonable timeframe after service completion or notification.

This policy applies to all customers whose vehicles are serviced, towed, or stored by Gee Wrenches Automotive.

Policy Details
1. Notification of Completion
Customers will be notified via phone, text, or email once their vehicle is ready for pickup or service is completed.
Notification date will be considered Day 0 for fee calculation purposes.

2. Grace Period
Customers will have a 2 business day grace period after notification to pick up their vehicle without incurring any fees.
During this time, the vehicle will be held at no additional cost.

3. Storage / Late Pickup Fees
If a vehicle is not picked up within the grace period, a daily storage fee will apply:
Vehicle Type Daily Fee
Passenger Vehicles $[50] per day
Fees will accrue daily including weekends and holidays until the vehicle is picked up.
Maximum storage duration is [30 days] unless special arrangements are made.

4. Abandoned Vehicles
Vehicles left beyond [30 days] without contact or payment may be considered abandoned under local/state regulations.
Gee Wrenches Automotive reserves the right to take legal action including:
Filing for a mechanic's lien
Notifying appropriate authorities
Selling the vehicle to recoup storage and service costs (per applicable laws)

5. Exceptions and Waivers
Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis due to emergencies, parts delays, or prior written arrangements.
Waivers must be approved in writing by a manager.

6. Customer Responsibility
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure timely pickup once notified.
Failure to respond or pick up the vehicle may result in additional charges or legal action.

Acknowledgment
By leaving a vehicle in our care, the customer agrees to the terms of this policy and understands the fees that may apply for late pickup.
