Thanks to the National Park Service, your voice was heard to SAVE LAKE MEAD. They have put together a preferred plan of action for Lake Mead National Recreation Area - National Park Service, and we need YOUR help to move the Alternative 1 plan ahead.

Raising your voice doesn’t stop. After a successful campaign and voicing our concerns in Fall of 2022, the National Park Service has released the SAVE LAKE MEAD plans in their Lake Mead National Recreation Area - National Park Service Sustainable Low Water Access Plan and Environmental Assessment. Alternative 1 is their preferred plan.

Alt 1 allows boaters, campers and recreators of all kinds to continue enjoying Lake Mead and helps maintain access, launch ramps and infrastructure.

Lake Mead is our livelihood, and we share so many memories there.

Please take a moment to read this: YOUR VOICE MATTERS. Your memories matter. Your family matters. Lake Mead matters. If we don’t come together and speak up, we could lose access to Lake Mead National Recreation Area. There’s still plenty of water left for us to enjoy! Take a few minutes to tell Bureau of Reclamation, National Park Service and people in power how important Lake Mead is to our livelihood. Conservation is key. Lake Mead National Recreation Area - National Park Service holds memories for many Las Vegas, Henderson and Boulder City families. Many of you raised your children there. Boating. Tubing. Jet skiing. Paddleboarding. Wakesurfing. Camping. The list goes on and on.

But the reality is, your children may not get to raise their children at Lake Mead because its fate is being held in the hands of the Bureau of Reclamation, National Park Service and others. Share your stories with them. Tell them how much Lake Mead means to you and your family.
