Jr 160 A main. P1 > P2

His poor mistake of going under the line thinking they were going to double file. You live and you learn 🙂

Well, the race weekend got cut short due to the rain, but Wesley was anything BUT short on talent! 🏁🔥

This race was all about getting the drivers ready for Vegas next month, and let me tell you… Wesley showed up! 👏🏼

He drove smart, smooth, and confidently, showing off his skills by working his way from LAST PLACE all the way up to 3rd! 🔥 Watching him race with that kind of patience and determination makes this mama proud!

In the Jr 160 A Main, he made a mistake that cost him his first-place spot, ultimately finishing in 2nd. Here’s what happened: a car spun out right after the green flag was thrown. Normally, if there isn’t a call (which there usually isn’t), the cars get re-racked and restarted. This time, there WAS a call, and Wes wasn’t aware of it. He was giving car #2 room to get double-file when the green flag was thrown, causing Wes to go below the line. That resulted in another restart and cost him two positions. Racing is full of split-second decisions, and every weekend is another learning experience!

🏆 Weekend Results:
🥈 Jr Animal — 2nd Place
🥈 Jr 160 — 2nd Place

Rain may have cut the weekend short, but Wesley still made the most of every lap he got! 💪🏼 He’s learning, growing, and becoming one heck of a racer, and we couldn’t be more proud of the driver he’s turning into.

Big shoutout to Tim Marsh and Austin Lassiter! 🙌🏼🏁

Wes had a pretty bad wreck in California, and let’s face it… Dad isn’t exactly the best when it comes to working on these cars 😂🤷🏼‍♀️ So after Wesley’s heat race, these two took it upon themselves to step in and get Wes hooked up with a whole new setup.

We seriously can’t thank you guys enough for jumping in, lending a hand, and helping get Wesley back out there with a setup he felt confident in! ❤️

Wesley especially appreciates having a good setup under him and knowing he has people in his corner willing to help him out. We’re so grateful for the racing family we’ve built along the way! 🏁❤️

Thank you, Tim & Austin! We appreciate you more than you know! 🙏🏼
