Sad day for those of us that enjoyed this Go Kart facility, gone forever! Demolished on this day. At least we still have the indoor one to enjoy.

We are disheartened to have to inform the public that we will be ceasing business operations at the Gene Woods Racing Experience track located at 121 E. Sunset Rd. on Sunday, July 30th. The property owner recently sold the building and it is [now] time for us to move on.

"I want to thank everyone who has come down and supported this business over the past 12 years," said Gene Woods, GWRE owner. "We have put a lot of smiles on people faces while creating thousands of memories here for locals and tourists in the Vegas Valley."

Our other GWRE track located at 450 Fremont Street will well honor all Groupon from the Sunset location and continue, business as usual and Groupon tickets can be purchased ahead of time at https://www.groupon.com/deals/gene-woods-racing-new-fremont-street-track-2

Gene Woods Racing Experience go karts is looking for a track worker to check drivers in and prepare them for the race. Enforce all safety procedures. Start and monitor race. Perform minor repairs, light cleaning and assist when needed. Must be able to work over when needed. Have good customer service.
