10/23 - 10/24: Cedar Lake Arena - Fall Shootout / Melvin Germain Memorial
We were a little hesitant to head back up to Wisconsin, as anyone who knows our Wisconsin travels knows we have not had the best of luck (truck motor seizing up, tires blowing out, etc). However, it does appear 3rd times the charm, as we made the trip without any issues and Ryker was able to sweep 🧹 the entire event his first time ever at Cedar Lake Arena!

This Phantom Racing Chassis 2.0 was a 🚀 ship all weekend and never skipped a beat. Not only did Ryker have the fastest lap of the entire event (9.615) but his last 3 average laps in the Pro Feature (9.641) were actually faster than anyone’s fastest lap.
Special thanks to Cedar Lake Arena and the Germain family for this event, from an awesome track, to a great environment, solid tech program and fun podcast, was an overall great experience!
Congrats to Jacob Deml (Deml Racing), Daxx Housley (DHRacing), Braylen Neer, and Breck Lanoue on your podiums. Huge congrats to Re*****on Kipka (Kipka Racing) on your 4th place finish at only 8 in a stacked field, you’re going to be a force in the BP class!
Definitely a list of people that deserve some serious thanks:
Ralph and Lee at Uncle Frank's 4 Cycle Racing have both been in Rykers corner since the beginning and have always done anything they can to help him!
Motor Mike at PowermaX Racing Products “Race one or Chase one” - we might not always have the set-up dialed, but that motor sure is!
Adam at AJC Racing Tires LLC for all the help over the last 2 years, and for continuing to try and give these kids competitive opportunities. Can’t forget a heck of a tire too, held up all weekend and didn’t start to feather once.
I don’t even know where to begin with Peterson Racing -Trenton #17 - this whole family, man, Matt, Amanda, Trent, and Millie, just a huge thank you for everything, the time, the help, always being a sounding board for ideas, and the support and encouragement Ryker always received, it’s been a hell of a ride!
Not sure if the wing karts will come back out or not at the moment, but will keep this updated and have a season ending post as there are still quite a few people to thank!
Additional thanks for top notch equipment and safety gear:
