Life is such a Precious thing.
So I got a text last Monday out of the blue from what I thought was a Regular Client of ours. After a minute I realized what I had just read. The text ask me how I knew this person, they were going through there messages and was curious how I knew him because he had passed away. My heart Dropped and couldn't believe what I read... it took a minute to sink in. So I told them who I was and that I had Detailed his vehicles for about 4 years now. She then realized who I was, and said oh im so sorry I forgot. I told her not to worry, she then asked me if I could schedule a detail for her vehicle as it had been a while. I Scheduled it for today as it was the best day for her. When I arrived at her house today it was so strange. I was so use to seeing her husband Ron pop out, we'd chat for a few minutes then he would say "OK I'll stop my yapping and let you get to work." I would always tell him no problem at all sir, I enjoy our chats. Ron was a kind and gentle Soul. So today his wife came out we talked for 5 minutes or so, and she cried talking about Ron and said oh how he loved to get his cars detailed, he loved to drive a clean car. After our chat I got to work, when I finished she heard me wrapping up and she came out, asked me how much and said dont low ball me either cuz you need to get paid and this car was a mess. So I told her the price, she said WOW what a bargain, went in got the payment, came out we talked again for like 10 minutes and I told her if she needed anything let me know. If you need a light bulb changed or help with something and now one is available LET ME KNOW. She started crying said THANK YOU gave me a hug and said have a blessed evening.
I'm posting this as a remembrance that YOU NEVER KNOW HOW YOU MAY IMPACT SOMEONE'S LIFE. Ron was a Great one, and I personally will miss him. Rest in Paradise my Friend, rest easy.
