Phoenix was pleased to welcome interns from the District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) Career & Technical Education (CTE) Program for a behind-the-scenes look at our marine operations.

Students toured our facility, explored the technology behind our AUVs, ROVs, robotics, and sonar systems, and learned about the many career pathways into the marine industry—from college and military service to apprenticeships and technical training.

🔹 Devin Parce – Vocational training in Welding & Non-Destructive Testing (Full-time Phoenix employee)
🔹 Aren Richardson – Vocational training in Welding & Non-Destructive Testing (Returning to CAT for his senior year while continuing part-time with Phoenix)
🔹 Garrett Michalak – Vocational training in Diesel Mechanics (Returning to CAT for his senior year while continuing part-time with Phoenix)
We're especially proud to see the next generation learning from Phoenix employees who also began their careers through the CAT program.
