The United South High School community proudly contributed to the Thanksgiving “Let’s Share & Care” Food Drive, an initiative organized by Attorney Javier and Webb County Attorney Marc Montemayor. Our students collected non perishable items as well as monetary donations for this great cause. Thank you to everyone that contributed! 🐾🩵🐾

Wow..

When we ask for your driver license at your window and you say, “I’m working on it, should be getting it soon,” we picture something recent—like you actually filled out paperwork this decade.

What we don’t expect is to run it and see “pending”… from 15 years ago.

That’s not “soon.” That’s “never.”

I mean, I tried out for high school basketball once… back in high school. Technically, nobody ever told me I didn’t make the team. But I’m not still sitting here 25 years later waiting on coach to call me up. ! ? …?

And doing it while speeding through a school zone with expired registration? That’s like still waiting on your MySpace friend request to come through. Newsflash: it’s not happening.

Let’s start this off slow… 🐢 You MUST have all three of those documents… driver license, registration, and insurance.

Because saying “I’m working on getting my license” while driving an unregistered car at nearly twice the speed in a school zone… that’s not multitasking. That’s self-sabotage. 🚔💡
