Phase 2 of this Ranger 1500 build is complete! ✅

Customer went with a 6ft aluminum flatbed with the built-in 120lb feeder 😍

We had to put that Motobunker touch on it. We pulled apart the original bed harness and built a new one to retain the OEM auxiliary 12v, rear camera, and his existing XK Glow rock lights — then retrofitted the SATV turn signal kit to work seamlessly. Wires were run inside the railings where possible to keep them protected, with everything else loomed and secured properly.

Just how we like it, and how it should be — plug and play.
Most people installing accessories never think about having to remove them one day, but when you run a repair shop, you know eventually someone will need to pull that bed for major repairs. The last thing you want is to be cutting and resplicing wires to get there.

RZR Turbo came in with an overheating issue.
Customer reported it would overheat in under 5 minutes of run time.

After attempting to bleed the cooling system, it was clear the engine was heating up way too fast — almost like the water pump wasn’t doing its job. On top of that, you can hear an ugly knock in the first clip 😳

Once on the lift and torn down for inspection, we found damage to the water pump impeller, but the bigger issue was that the water pump wasn’t spinning at all. The shaft on the back of the oil pump that drives the water pump was spinning freely, indicating an internal failure.

Between the cooling failure and the knocking, it was time to pull the engine.

After removal, more issues surfaced — including turbo shaft play.

At this point… get your wallet ready 💸😩
This one’s going to get expensive.
