Jumped on Cody Chauppetta Century and headed offshore again. Left after the big thunderstorm this morning. Made it out and didn’t take long to get our limit plus one mangy. Had a real nice chop due to the storms but not unbearable. Season winding down with tomorrow and next weekend for red snapper. Dilly Dilly and Got’em. Live white trout did the damag.

Went out to the Gulf of America this morning to catch some snapper. First stop and they was hungry. Didn’t take long and came back with a set of quads. I know one is going to be dinner tonight. Dilly Dilly mangroves caught with minnows from G&R Live Baits. Get some.

Went test run the boat this morning since I just got it out of the shop. I was minding my business and I inadvertently ran through a school of Asian carp and a bunch ended up in the bottom of the boat. I said I’m gonna smoke some of them and see how they taste. What a morning. Conditions perfect and hungry trout abound. Justin, Ms. Mindy, Greyson and Cole on board. Ride out was sweet and temp bearable in the morning hours. First stop and it was on and picked up a mess and one finished it off with one jog. Made a sparkle trout margarita in the fish box for the ride in. Greyson and Cole put the lick on them while Ms. Mindy had the biggest trout of the group. Dad kept the gaftops at bay so the others could catch trout. Fish were caught using live minnows from G&R Live Baits under a Harvey Tackle popper and double matrix shads shrimp creole. The bite continues even in the heat. We also learned a new fishing slang this morning. “Thrower back in’er” compliments of Ms. Mindy. Translated….. Is the trout to small and do we have to release it back to the water. 😂😂😂😂. How about we just give it a 3 letter acronym. “TBI”. Dilly Dilly till next time.

It’s been 14 years since you were taken from us on that ugly Thursday morning. Not a day or minute or second goes by that you are not thought of and missed dearly. They say time heals all but in reality the pain never goes away. You are always by my side wherever I am. A life senselessly taken and can only ask why.

Had Dalton come onboard this morning after a few reschedules due to winds or work. The stars lined
Up this morning and off we went. First stop picked up a couple and after one move it was on and iced up his beautiful trout. Went look for a couple slots and called it a morning before the preheat. Fish were caught on live minnows from G&R Live Baits , and Marker 54 jerk shrimp under a Harvey Tackle poncho popper. The trout bite is still on even though the temp is rising. Dilly Dilly and Got’em again.
