This is some great news

I didn’t think it was possible to get everything ready, but with a lot of hard work from our dedicated volunteers, and all the people behind the scenes, Forest County ATV/UTV Trail System will open at 8:00am Saturday April 25th.

EXCEPTION to this:
Our 8 Mile Loop between Lake Metonga and Lake Lucerne.
This section will NOT open until mid to late May.
It is very wet in there and crews will be working on getting it
ready. PLEASE STAY OUT until we post an opening date.

I would like to extend a HUGE Thank You to the snowmobile clubs that left the trails in unbelievably Great shape that made our task WAY easier.
LMT, 100 Miler, Tombstone/Pickerel, Black Bear and Three Lakes.

Keep in mind that the trails are still soft in certain areas so tread lightly. We still have some work to do putting the finishing touches on them, so if you see us fixing signs or doing other work, please slow down and give us a Thumbs Up.

Join us on Saturday May 16th at Carter Casino at 9:00am for our monthly meeting, Spring Ride and kickoff of our Season Long Poker Run.

Starting Monday February 16th the bridge over Swanson Creek on the Nicolet State Trail (red trail) south of Laona will close for replacement. LMT 7 (yellow trail) will be used as a detour for the remainder of the season. Use caution heading south of Laona, Crews and machinery will be on the trail.

The bridge over Swamp Creek on LMT 6 is finished but will remain closed due to no snow left on the trail. If we get more snow this section will be able to open

Forest County snowmobile trails will open at 8:00 AM on Wednesday December 31, 2025. Trails are still in early season riding , ride safe, stay right.
