🏁 OKAY… HOW COOL IS THIS?! 🏁

We officially have a piece of Leavenworth history sitting right here inside MainStreet CDJR! ❤️

This is an actual 1950 Soap Box Derby Car raced by Leavenworth’s John J. Blume in the regional All-American Soap Box Derby in Atchison — and more than 75 years later, it’s still here for our community to enjoy!

The car is owned by the Leavenworth County Historical Society, and we are SO excited to partner with them and give this incredible piece of local history a temporary home here at MainStreet.

Seriously, pictures don’t do this thing justice. You have to see it in person!
