AC blowing warm? Don't assume it just needs more refrigerant.

It's a common misconception, but your vehicle's air conditioning system is sealed. If it's low on refrigerant, there's usually an underlying reason.

The tricky part is that several different issues can cause weak or warm AC. It could be a leak, an airflow problem, a cooling fan that isn't doing its job, or even debris blocking airflow through the condenser.

Simply adding refrigerant without knowing the cause can sometimes make the problem worse instead of better.

When your AC isn't keeping up on a hot day, it's worth finding the root cause rather than guessing. Understanding what's really happening can save time, money, and frustration.

That’s the #1 question we hear when a check engine light comes on.

Here’s the honest answer: it depends.
Some issues (like a faulty oxygen sensor) might not cause immediate damage. Others—like timing-related problems—can seriously hurt your engine if you keep driving.

Bottom line? The light means something needs attention. And the sooner we diagnose it, the better the outcome (and often, the lower the cost).

If your steering wheel suddenly feels stiff or you hear a whining or grinding noise when you turn, that could be a power steering issue.

One of the most common causes? Low power steering fluid.

When fluid gets low (usually from a leak), the pump can start pulling in air. That creates something called cavitation, which can damage the pump and even the rack and pinion. Left alone, that repair can get expensive fast.

If your steering doesn’t feel like it normally does, don’t ignore it. Catching a small fluid issue early can prevent much bigger problems later.

What Are Major Services and Why Do They Matter?

Your car is built to last, but only if it’s taken care of at key points in its life.
Major services are the bigger milestones in your vehicle’s maintenance schedule at 30K, 60K, or 90K miles.

They’re designed to catch wear, prevent long-term damage, and keep your car running as it should.

This might include things like:
✔️ Fluid changes
✔️ Spark plugs
✔️ Belts and filters
✔️ System inspections

📅 Not sure if you’re due? We can help you figure it out.

Some Chevy and GMC Ecotec models rely heavily on clean oil pressure to keep important parts like the timing system working properly.

When oil changes get skipped or pushed too far:

- Oil breaks down and thickens
- Sludge starts to build up
- Small oil passages can get blocked

And that’s where problems start. The timing system depends on proper oil flow, and when that’s restricted, it can lead to internal damage.

Oil doesn’t just lubricate; it protects some of the most important parts of your engine.
