Well, I went to a car show at Tom's 26 in Lancaster. It was good to get the Rat Rod out and rollin on its own wheels. Had a good time. Great to see all the cool cars and the people.
Again, I would like to thank the people who helped me make this a reality. Gregg Gardner, Ken Ramey, Larry Baldini. If I forgot anybody, I apologize.
Well, what blew me away was that I won a trophy! "Yikes"!!!
Did not go there with the mindset to do that. Sure blew me away.
Thanks again to all those who helped me.
We will see you on the pavement soon.....

Well, I know a deep subject! I had the experience of driving my let's call it a rat rod down to a car show. Toms #26 High Desert Cruisers' last car show of this season. It was fun and not so fun. part of the cool of it was I built the car from a 1929 Model A Murray sedan.
Phew, what a job! Cut, Grind. weld/weld/weld.weld.
I am not, by any means, an engineer. Many of you car guys have beautiful cars and the cash you need to buy parts.

The truth is, I must redo stuff I thought was correct but wasn't. So it begins the reengineering of what is wrong with the car. I have roughly 3 months until the next crusing season. "RATZY " WILL BE BACK.

Well, kinda stuck for now. I need three things to get the Rat Rod on the road: two front tires, a Drive shaft, and front brakes.
That is money I do not have at this time.

We are working on getting the funds.....

Well, I had a problem with the flexplate. pulled engine. found that the flexplate bolts were scraping the torque converter. When I put it all together, I used misc bolts. So I went out and got the correct bolts for the flexplate to bolt to the crank.
