This Forester was recently purchased by my customer from a used car dealership. This customer has an eye for detail and was frustrated with all the sticky dirt in all the tight nooks and crannies and wanted a good RESET cleaning to feel more comfortable in their new car.

We discovered the vehicle was previously smoked in based on what we pulled up from the seats and also discovered some severe water stains on the glass and paint. We did a water spot treatment and polished the paint to help remove some of the stubborn spots, improve gloss and shine and also help the protection to bond more efficiently with the paint vs the minerals on the paint as well as did a deep cleaning on the interior.

Customer was super happy with the end result and appreciated how we paid ATTENTION 2 DETAILS for them.

Washing and protecting matte paint requires a special approach. 🚫 waxes,🚫 optical brighteners, 🚫 clay towels and 🚫 polishes. You need dedicated soaps and protectants that won’t take away from the matte look so this customer brought it here to wash it and help maintain it properly.

I’d say that’s a big improvement! And no, we didn’t polish this minivan. But we DID do a proper wash, decontamination, applied Phoenix EOD Glossom Wax with the Batoca battery powered polisher, red jeweling pad from diy_detail and then topped it with Katiba Gloss Booster. 😍

While we will polish it NEXT time we see it, for now she’s clean and protected as we head into winter and looks SOO much glossier.

This Customer just got this vehicle a few weeks ago used from NY. He normally maintains his vehicles himself but polishing is not something he’s confident in. He noticed swirls and scratches on the paint and wanted to polish it to brighten the paint but didn’t know where to start so he reached out to us.

Flat colors on vehicles are 😍 but every scratch stands out like a sore 👍🏻 and this paint was sensitive and required an additional step to finish down properly. We then topped it with customer requested Meguiars Hybrid Paint Coating and she’s now shiny AND protected for winter!
