Lance's state-of-the art California facility utilizes composite materials and computer design and cutting technology to create comfortable, beautiful, and durable RVs. For more than 50 years Lance has been America's Favorite Truck Camper manufacturer. A major investment in computer technology and automated equipment has allowed us to expand our production capabilities. Travel trailers have now bec

ome a significant portion of our RV business, as potential buyers appreciate the same great quality that Lance truck camper buyers have enjoyed for decades. We are confident that once you see a Lance truck camper or travel trailer you will not be satisfied with anything less. Aluminum has now replaced wood in the super-structure of every truck camper or travel trailer we build. Computer controlled saws and routers cut all the RV parts with great precision, and dictate the exact placement of every part. Aluminum welding secures all the frame components. Rigid foam becomes the insulator and main part of the framework. Floors, walls and ceilings are transported to the lamination department where hot adhesive is applied to fiberglass sides and interior panels, then bonded and laminated under pressure to form a light weight, rigid component. No one builds a better light weight travel trailer or truck camper RV than Lance…America's favorite.

August, you showed up. ☀️

For the early mornings.
The open-road miles.
The unexpected stops.
And all the moments worth keeping.

Now, September is calling. 🍂

We’re heading to the Hershey RV Show and Elkhart Open House to walk the lineup, see what’s new, and hear where August took you.

Where did the road take you this month?

Before the open road, there was the factory floor.

This photo captures something we still believe in today: a small team, a commitment to craft, and campers built to last a lifetime. Decades later, those early Lances are still out there making memories.

Do you own a vintage Lance? Drop your model year in the comments we love seeing these classics still rolling. 👇

This is what a brand new Lance 825 looks like in its natural habitat.

Off the grid with John Combs. No signal. No problem.

Where's your Lance taking you?

From a shaded campsite to a mountain sunset to Wild Rose Country.

Joseph Giacomelli loaded up his Lance, hitched the bike to the back, and kept going north. That's the thing about a setup like this when you can bring everything you need, there's no real reason to stop.

Thanks for sharing the ride, Joseph. 📍 Alberta, Canada

The meal you cook at 9,000 feet hits differently.

Not because altitude changes the flavor. Because you made it in a kitchen that actually works counter space, a real stove, storage that makes sense.

The Lance galley kitchen was designed for people who didn't want to stop cooking real food just because they went off-grid. It's not a "camper kitchen." It's a kitchen, in a camper.

Built Different.

August in the sun. Your camper, a solar oven.

You don't have to choose between comfort and going off-grid. Here are four ways Lance owners beat the heat without running the AC all day:

① Reflective window covers on every window before you leave camp blocks radiant heat before it builds up inside.

② Extend the awning. It's obvious. Most people forget it until they're already miserable.

③ Vent fans: run them exhaust-out in the afternoon, intake in the evening. Cross-ventilation changes everything.

④ Park east-facing when you can. Morning sun. Shaded by noon.

Save this one. You'll thank yourself next weekend. 📌

Some setups don't need an explanation.

Jhonnel's Lance in Estacada, Oregon. That truck. That color. That meal. That forest.

Some setups speak for themselves.

Joshua reached out this week to share what he called a dream finally fulfilled a 2017 Lance 650 on a 2019 Chevy 2500, with a Suzuki DRZ 400s along for the ride. When the road runs out, he's covered either way.

Thank you, Joshua Eric Weber, for letting us share this with the community. Here's to the miles ahead. 🏔️

Before touchscreens. Before composite panels. Before aluminum framing was the industry standard.

There was a guy with a vision to build a better truck camper and this is what he came up with.

We love this photo because it shows you exactly where we came from. The proportions are different. The finishes are different. But look at the philosophy: purpose-built, owner-focused, built to last.

Some things don't change.
