Join Visit Fairfield County Ohio in celebrating America’s 250th birthday at the Fairfield County Community Picnic in the heart of downtown Lancaster on Wednesday, July 22nd. The event begins at 11:00 am with picnic games and activities for visitors of all ages. At noon, settle in and enjoy live music from the Lancaster High School Percussion Ensemble during Lancaster Festival’s Noon at the Square!

Bring a blanket and relax on the large lawn beside the gazebo or near the fountain, where visitors are encouraged to spread out and enjoy the performance. Grab lunch from local food trucks and street vendors, stop by one of the many downtown restaurants, or bring along a homemade picnic to enjoy with friends and family.

🍋 Free lemonade will be served! Spend a summer afternoon enjoying great music, good company, and a relaxed picnic atmosphere as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday together!

🏆 Special Highlight: The winner of the “America Is…” Writing Contest will receive their cash prize during the picnic and will read their essay aloud!

Make your own natural bug spray at Healthy Life Solutions for summer fun! 🐜 Essential oils, ingredients, and supplies will be set up in the store. They will guide you through creating a bottle to take home. Enjoy this simple, hands-on activity to help you enjoy patios, gardens, cookouts, camping, and summer evenings outside.

Live music is coming to the Double Edge Brewing Co. patio with DEACON on Saturday, July 18th, from 7:00–10:00 pm! 🎸 From KISS to Breaking Benjamin to The Black Keys, DEACON is bringing the rock, the grunge, and all the songs your millennial heart still screams in the car.

Beat the heat this Friday with Gypsy Joe's! They've got cold, creamy scoops for EVERYONE! The adults can take their scoops into the Orange Carpet for a boozy twist that will hit just right while strolling The ArtWalk. Whether you want classic cones, sundaes, or something with a kick, they have you covered. Visit them from 6:00–9:00 pm at the rear of The Orange Carpet Lounge!

The OCL will also feature an arm-blasting showdown outside the Orange Carpet Lounge as Big Guns bring the thunder to ArtWalk!

The PACE Vehicle will be joining us at ArtWalk! 💜

The vehicle serves as a fully equipped adult changing area, a quiet space to nurse, change, or soothe a baby, or a place for those with sensory issues to decompress.

Thank you, Fairfield Center for Independence, for joining us with the PACE Vehicle tomorrow, helping us work towards being as inclusive as possible. Because when everyone can join us at the celebration, we are sure to have a better time!
