Fixed the van!!!!!! Turned out to be a heater hose rubbing on the back side of the Alternator! Only took 4 nights of fighting with it. Note I gotta figure out what the hell is going on with the Alfa it’s still dead. 😔 and Casper still needs a new battery but I can jump start it and it’ll take me anywhere!!!

Night # 2 of fighting this coolant leak. New radiator cap, new radiator, new water pump, new heater control valve (the heat works now lol) new thermostat. I flushed the system again.

I’m getting a coolant leak under hard acceleration and it’s pooling on top of the alternator and the bolts to the thermostat housing and running down the passenger side of the firewall. I’m hoping I have a leaking heater hose, The other option is bad bad news. Apparently the intake manifolds on these tend to leak coolant there also. But I’m thinking it wouldn’t pool up above the intake manifold it would be below right? 😫

Oh and I got two more parking tickets today. That’s $200 bucks now Fml! 🤦🏽‍♂️

Fingers crossed the only issue with my van is that the radiator cap is bad. Yesterday on our way to our gig with the van fully loaded going up a big hill I got a burst of coolant smell. I can’t find any leaks, the system was under pressure this morning when I took the cap off, I did the exhaust gas in the coolant test and it was good. Nothing is coming out of the tail pipe but the l coolant level was low and the coolant is muddy looking. It’s got a new radiator, thermostat and water pump and I flushed the engine when I did all the work. The heater core isn’t leaking either.

I gotta drive this thing to Florida Thursday night! Ugh!!

Late night programming lights. Omg what a pain in the ass!!!! I have more programmed than what’s in the video. I’m tired and I can’t play music because Mary’s sleeping lol, I feel bad that she had to go to bed alone tonight but here’s how I see it. I work my ass off to make other people rich so Why can’t I work my ass off to make myself rich???? You gotta be better than your yesterday every day!!! I’ll get there watch me… Late nights early mornings. Whatever. I’m good at anything I do because I put my all into it….
