Premier Ford of Lamesa joined Ford's Feeding America initiative to help fight hunger, partnering with the West Texas Food Bank of the Permian Basin and Lamesa ISD to assist families in the Lamesa community. The event took place at the LISD LHS Food Pantry. Today’s distribution served more than 100 families from the Lamesa area.

This event capped the Feeding America End Hunger Food Drive held at Premier Ford of Lamesa which ran for two weeks. Our team collected and delivered over 5,000 pounds of canned goods, dried foods, and produce, which were stocked on the pantry shelves.

Premier Ford continues its food drive to stock the Lamesa ISD Pantry through September 21.
Last year, the effort gathered more than 4,000 pounds of food, and our goal this year is to surpass that total. We invite our local businesses, municipal offices, and residents to participate by dropping off canned and other non-perishable items at Premier Ford of Lamesa, 1207 S. Lynn. Donations will be accepted through Monday, September 21, at 10:00 a.m. Together, we can build a healthier, better-nourished community.

The 2026 Golden Tour Homecoming kicked off tonight with a spectacular entrance by a High-Flying Sky Diver, launching the festivities. The Golden Tornadoes faced the Post Antelopes in the opener. A Moment of Silence was observed to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001. Special thanks to Premier Ford and Lamesa Dodge for their support, and to Hughes for their contributions. Congratulations to all members of the Homecoming Court, and best wishes to the Homecoming King and Queen. Go Tors! Day 1, "Ready Set Ford" Food Drive

Our Premier Ford team is proud to continue our support of Ford’s initiative to end hunger across America. Today starts our “Fill a Ford with Kindness” food drive and we are geared to make a difference here in Lamesa. The drive will continue through September 21st, last year the drive raised over 4,000 pounds of food and our goal is to excede that record in 2026.
In partnership with the West Texas Food Bank of Midland, we will provide local families with groceries and fresh produce, facilitated by a collaboration with the Lamesa Independent School District Food Pantry. The school’s Social-Emotional Support Specialists will coordinate the distribution of the food items, ensuring that those in need will receive the nourishment and resources they require.

Nurse, Mrs. Soliz is truly a blessing to Lamesa ISD. She is always going above and beyond to make sure they feel safe, supported, and cared for. Her colleagues rave about how she serves students with compassion, patience, and, most importantly, love.
Our Premier Ford and Premier Dodge location teams stopped by today to surprise her with a little pick me up and to show our gratitude for everything she does each day to keep the students healthy, many of which are our own Premier family kiddos. Thank you, Mrs. Soliz, for being such an amazing and important part of our North Elementary and Lamesa community family!

At this Rodeo, Family is Family!

Another Post Stampede Rodeo is in the books, and the Premier Auto Group of Texas is honored once again to stand beside our community in presenting the annual Jeremy King, "Top Hand Award." Lane Jones is this year’s honoree. He puts his heart into everything we do and embodies what it means to be a devoted cowboy. -- Wacey Moore, Rodeo Organizer.

The Rodeo has long been more than entertainment—it’s a lifeline for our local community, a heart for giving back that aligns with Premier Texas’s mission. Last evening was especially meaningful. Two families smiled, cried, and hugged as they learned our team had come together to honor the memory of Chloe Mason Whitehead by helping another family in her name.

In Chloe’s loving memory, we came together to donate $5,000 to 14-year-old Kyler Smith as he bravely continues his health battle. Both families have left indelible impressions on many of us, and we are grateful for the opportunity to thank them in this way.

God is truly GREAT. 🙏🏼
